Did I ever tell you how fun it is to see Margaret Atwood in my email feed? Itโ€™s even more fun than when Justin Trudeau showed up during the election. Never once did he suggest drawing DoFo in a dress. I like your emails way more, especially since you now have such a nice stamp.

You should have been on a stamp decades ago . That is a complimentโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not calling you old! Thanks for already doing so much to save the planet (along with your other zillion accomplishments) . Please do check out www.Yonge4All.ca . If you would sign our online petition to make Yonge better and safer for all of us, we would not love you more thatโ€™s impossible. But weโ€™d sure appreciate it! Youโ€™re the best. Please keep annoying our Premier. You give us all hope!

Hilarious. Go for it. Dougie in a dress sounds wonderful (if you donโ€™t picture it) .

Next you should replace the Queen on our moneyโ€ฆ.as a Canadian icon. And other Canadian icons ..like Mr. Dress Up (natch). No more Brits. Or politicians. Of any stripe. Even in a dress.

Your words give me hope! And they remind me to keep at it... โ€œSo many different ways to get in trouble!โ€ is an admirable life purpose indeed. PS: I love your stamps. I have a book of them on my desk and post them on envelopes of only those who would appreciate your wit. Oh one more thing: please do not stop roasting Ford. Never ever.

I love these comments almost as much as I love the post. Carry on. Pretty soon, you'll be everywhere. Doug and John won't know where to turn.

Putting on your "Icon face" and drawing Douglas in drag are not mutually exclusive. Perhaps a photo op! A shot of you, wearing your Icon face, drawing Dougie in a dress? Many would pay for an autographed copy of said photo. The proceeds could go towards saving the Grreenbelt. Oh, the irony...

Makes me wish this U.S. resident had reason to use Canadian postal stamps.

โ€ฆ but what kind of dress? 1950s a-line housewife dress with apron? Victorian bustle dress? Handmaidโ€™s cloak? Leather dominatrix chainmail? Oh the possibilities!

Dougie in a dress is a good idea. Dominatrix? I like it. Following along with his attempts in wearing โ€œskinny suitsโ€ (ha, who is he kidding?) he really should be styled in a โ€œskinny dressโ€. Something shiny and tight with inappropriate shoes. Iโ€™ve not pulled out my pencils in a long while but Iโ€™m thinking maybe now would be a good time...and Iโ€™m not in Ontario. You have my deepest heartfelt sympathies and I hope everyone is mad as hell.

Love you on the stamp! As for Dougie, I say yes to the dress. And give him a good dressing down!

I love reading these. This post was especially delicious. The privatization of healthcare and the destruction of the greenbelt are 2 very good reasons to stop Ford before itโ€™s too late. I must say that we, as Canadians only oppose accolades when they are not deserved or seem hypocritical. You deserve every accolade that comes your way. Youโ€™re a national treasure.
