I'm so appreciating the immediacy of this. That you can post something and I'm reading it 15 minutes later. That's what I love about this website, and I'm glad you're here.
Margaret Atwood, there is no one like you. Truly, you are an inspiration for many things, but your passion to stand up and effect change is brilliant. Thank you for using your unique and powerful voice, in the way you do. I look forward to everything you create, but Dougie is a man I have been waiting to see put in his place, and by you it is just so much the better!! Looking forward to the next part...
Thank you Ms Atwood for your advocacy for democracy And the environment...And your wit. I think Doug Ford pissed off the wrong writer 11 years ago! I look forward to the next edition in your new series, The Many Fibs of Doug Ford.
Margaret Atwood I beg you to write about François Legault. There might even be more material here than in your province. You are magnificant when you are pissed!!
Brilliant post, thank you Margaret. Libraries were decimated in the UK from 2010 onwards. An appalling blighting of people's lives, especially youngsters and especially impoverished people. But even if you were wrong 11 years ago, no call for being dismissed and patronised.
Margaret, you don't know me, but I know you and I revere your tenacity. I'm thrilled to see you poking the bear on this issue of Bill 23. I've been weeping uncontrollable about it for weeks. If hair could grow grey all over again, then mine has turned grey at least a hundred times. Mr. Ford is a fibber and not worthy of all this attention, but his actions are and I thank you for shedding a light upon them.
Bill 23 had final reading and was approved this morning. I was picketing Michael Ford's constituency Office at the time. My reaction was that I wish I were NOT non-violent , but even Fordsie baby will not change that. He must be overcome.
We shouldn't need your wonderful, acerbic wit -- we should be able to launch our own witty invectives by now! -- but thank heavens we have it! Please keep us chortling, which keeps us energized, and keeps us ANGRY! Humour -- especially ridicule -- is a powerful weapon against those who would be tyrants.
Lord, to have twice scorned Margaret Atwood. I'm enjoying the wrath he has wrought.

Thank you for caring! Thank you for being involved! & your sense of humour does (almost) as much good as a shot of Writer’s Tears.
I gave Doug my vote in June - now I'd like to sue to get my vote back. Who's with me?
Doug Ford is owned by organized crime. John Tory is owned by Doug Ford. Do the math.
Hilarious, thanks. (I peed a little)
