Slowly but surely - as the walled gardens begin to fail - content is becoming important once more, and the great authors are emerging from the shadows :)
Wow! I too write comics. I also love ballet. And I don't know how to mend socks; I use them to clean dirty things and then toss them. Anyway, here's my comic:
Welcome to Substack! I so appreciated your shout out for my 'Unschool' here, back when I posted to Mr. Cran's Truth&Consequences a year or so ago. Thank you!
And belated happy birthday, Ms. Atwood. This is a fun way to celebrate a new year!
Well, were you really born in 'Ottowa' and where is that? Didn't you live in the Laurentians as a kid? Were you born in a hospital or a cabin? That wouldn't be uncommon then :)
Looking forward. I haven’t enjoyed the Substack contributions of a well known writer since Salman Rushdie had to quit, for obvious reasons. I’ve been a fan since first reading The Handmaids Tale and Wilderness Tips when i was studying writing in college
This seemed like something you'd like. While I'm here, thank you so much for writing here. For sharing all kinds of smarty pants and silly stuff. It bolsters the soul!
You've probably heard of these folks/this person called Marshmallow Laser Feast. First I'm learning, but then I'm always the last to know. Enjoy.
MARGARET ATWOOD!!
I salute you!
Hooray! All the best folk: ASSEMBLE.
E. Jean Carroll!!
I salute you!
So, so, so glad you're doing this. ❤️ Looking forward to your thoughts. About, well, everything!

This is wondrous! Sharing widely from the Symbiocene rEVOLution group on Facebook. Glenn Albrecht is there with us. https://m.facebook.com/groups/982240195842195/?ref=share
Thank you for seeing the relevance of my concept of the Symbiocene

Why is "Ottawa" spelled "Ottowa"?
Oops. I never could spell.
Welcome!🎋
Looks like you have the hang of it, so see you around!

Ottawa General, Nov. 18. Went to the woods in a packsack @ 5 or 6 months later.
So happy to see this. Subscribed to your substack!
Gasp.
I owe my novel’s developing structure to The Blind Assassin. This is my version of having coffee w you and picking your brain -- only me though. 😅

This is the second time in a week that I've seen Ottawa spelled this way.
How do the rest of us get a Symbiocene passport?
